AUXILIARY:

Hello Everyone!
Well, we made it…I believe summer is finally here!  I am sure you are all busy getting your lawns and gardens in order as well as making plans for summer vacation, I know I am.
Installation Ceremony was held May, 17th.  Congratulations to everyone!  This past year was a “learning year,” and I am hoping (and praying) the coming year will be filled with as much laughter as success.  Really, it has been a pleasure working with everyone and I would like to express many thanks to all the Auxiliary members who continue to donate their time on all our projects – thank you!  I truly enjoy working with all of you and encourage members to “come on down” and join in the fun!  Also, we reached our membership goal of 193 and surpassed it by one.
Over the summer, please check the Legion and Auxiliary boards for up-coming events, dinner specials and volunteer opportunities.  Enjoy our beautiful Minnesota summer and as always, God bless our Troops and their families.
Peace
Auxiliary President
Jackie Miller

FIRST VICE COMMANDER:

Our post membership is up to 394 as of this writing. Our goal was 414 and as time has run out for the membership year we will not meet our goal for the first time in 3 years. We are at 95%.

We have one new member: Wilbert (Jerry) Evers Jr., Viet Nam Marine vet.  Welcome to our post Jerry.

I hope you will give your new 1st Vice the same great support you have given me. No one person can be responsible for membership, it takes all of us to bring new members in and encourage current members to renew. Please do your part to help. Without new members a post soon disappears. Don't let that happen to us.

God Bless Our Troops and Their Families!
1st Vice Commander,
Dave Ziegler
